Wiper Blade: Service and Repair

Replace Wiper Rubber For Windshield

Remove

Remove wiper blade (1)

Pull retaining springs (2) out of the rubber profile (3) towards the open rubber profile side

Unhook rubber profile (3) at retaining bracket (4) of the wiper blade

NOTE:  Slide a suitable screwdriver behind the rubber profile and loosen by bending.

Install

Attach rubber profile (3) to retaining bracket (4) of wiper blade (1)

Slide the retaining springs into the rubber profile on the open side

NOTE:  The curvature must point towards the windshield.

Install wiper blade

Actuate windshield wipers and windshield washer system

NOTE:

-

The wiped area must be wiped clear. The rubber lip of the wiper blade must tilt over when the movement changes direction. If this does not
happen, correct the stagger of the wiper arm, so that the end of the wiper arm is parallel with the windshield. In the event of heavy
contamination, against a separate order:

Clean windshield
