AR22.10-P-1100BV Remove/Install Engine Mounts

Remove/Install Engine Mounts

Disconnect ground cable of battery

NOTE:
-

Only necessary if the right engine mount is removed.

-

Installation:  After connecting, read fault memory, encode radio and normalize power windows. Vehicles with stationary heater, adjust time
display on stationary heater.

Remove inner fender (1)

Remove engine trim panel

Remove air cleaner housing (2)

Remove viscous fan

Remove heat shield of relay and module housing (3)

NOTE:  Only necessary if the left engine mount is removed.

Unscrew nuts (4) of engine mounts (5)

NOTE:  If the left-hand engine mount is removed, press oil line of power steering out of fixture.

Fit on engine supporting frame

Unscrew nut (6) from engine mount (5) at engine support

Remove shields of engine mount (7)

NOTE:  Installation:  The recess clearances in the shields must sit in the anti-twist locks of the engine supports.

Lift engine by the front lifting eye

NOTE:  Ensure that the rear of the engine does not touch the body! Do not overstretch coolant hoses and ground line of engine-vehicle frame!

Remove engine mounts (5)

NOTE:
-

Installation:  Observe identification and installation position of engine mount.
