Remove/Install Xenon Headlamp Control Module

Remove/Install

Danger:

Danger from Xenon headlamp high voltage

-

Do not touch parts which conduct high voltages. Persons with active electronic implants (e.g. heart pacemakers) should never work on
xenon headlamps.

Remove left front headlamp unit (E1) or right front headlamp unit

Place headlamp in inverted position on workbench

CAUTION:  Place on a soft base so that the headlamp lens is not scratched.

Unscrew screws (1)

NOTE:  3 each.

Remove Xenon headlamp control module

NOTE:  is unplugged automatically when removed.

Install in the reverse order

Adjust headlamp into zero position using STAR DIAGNOSIS

Inspect headlamp adjustment, correct if necessary.
