Removing And Installing Wiper Arm

Remove/Install

Danger:

-

Injury hazard by trapping or crushing, in extreme cases with loss of limbs when reaching into windshield wiper mechanism

-

Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.

Ensure that wiper motor is in park position

Open protective cap (1)

Unscrew nut (2)
-

Nut for wiper arm on windshield = 18 Nm

Take off wiper arm

CAUTION:  Hold wiper arm on mounting section to avoid hitting against windshield.

Install in the reverse order
