Discharge Noise from Airmatic Compressor

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of an excessively loud hissing noise from the air discharge of the Airmatic compressor,
install a damping mat and modified intake hose to resolve. Please ensure to observe the following notes when installing the damping mat and intake hose.

1.

Install damping at in proper location. See Figures 1, 2 or 3 for specific model locations.

2.

Route the modified intake hose from the compressor upwards to the damping mat. See Figure 1, 2 or 3 above for specific model routings.
