Navigation System Guidance Erroneous or Does Not Function Due to Possible

Switch-Off or Incorrect GPS Signals During Worldwide Crisis Situations

During worldwide crisis situations, GPS signals may be switched off or incorrect which will cause erroneous positioning and navigation.

1.

Perform test drive to verify the complaint.

2.

If the navigation is found to have erroneous positioning and navigation, compare to other similar vehicles with navigation.

3.

If the comparison vehicles navigation systems produce similar erroneous positioning, the GPS signal may be intentionally altered during
worldwide crisis situations.

4.

If other vehicles do not indicate erroneous positioning and navigation, the vehicle's navigation system should be diagnosed. Possible areas to
explore during diagnosis:

a.

Navigation CD, may not be the latest version. Trial fit the latest Navigation CD and road test.

b.

Vehicle's GPS antenna system/reception

c.

Mapping error

If the complaint does not occur during the test drive, a mapping error is present on navigation CD - Please inform TAC. Inform customer of
mapping error.

5.

Verify GPS antenna operation. Verify longitude and latitude versus known location, example another known working vehicle.
