Function

The mirror defroster consists of a heating element connected in series with a bimetal switch. The heating element is located on the rear of the mirror
glass to which it is permanently fastened.
Control of the temperature is accomplished by the bimetal switch switching on and off.
If the temperature of the mirror glass drops to below 15 °C the heating element is switched on via the bimetal switch, warming the mirror glass.
If the temperature of the mirror glass increases to above 25 °C the bimetal switch switches off the heating element.
