Center Console Power Window Switches, Purpose/Design/Function
Purpose
The windows in the front and rear doors can be opened and closed with the center console power window switches.
Design
The switches are designed as pushbuttons.
They are integrated into the center console switch group (S21). The left front power window switch (S21s1) and right front power window switch
(S21s2) have four switch positions, the left rear power window switch (S21s3) and right rear power window switch (S21s4) have three switch
positions.

NOTE:
The front power window switches (S21s1, S21s2) and rear power window switches (S21s3, S21s4) are designed as polarity reversal switches. This
means that the polarity of the power to the motors can be changed (depending on the opening direction).
In the non-actuated position, both motor connections are connected to ground via the switch contact. This provides an electric braking effect for the
motors.
Moreover, the front power window switches (S21s1, S21s2) each have one additional contact for the one-touch down feature.
This contact supplies the switch-on pulse for the all-activity module (AAM, N10).
