Component Identification

The COMAND (Cockpit Management and Data System) operating, display and controller unit is a central control and display device for all
entertainment and communications systems integrated into the vehicle. It can also be controlled with the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel
(MFL).

Component Identification

The COMAND operating, display and controller unit is installed in the center console.

From the COMAND operating, display and control unit, the following system components integrated into the device can be controlled:

The following external components are controlled:

An external analog audio source can be connected to the COMAND operating, display and controller unit via the AUX jack in the glove box. Data
exchange via a discrete line.
