Low Tire Pressure Indicator: Reset Procedure

If the driver changes to the air pressure, the wheels or a tire, the new air pressure values are set automatically in the TPM control unit (N88) by the
filling detection system.  Manual reactivation is only provided as a stop-gap solution if the automatic detection system fails.

The following procedures must be carried out for activation.

Correct the air pressure at each wheel.

Switch on ignition (circuit 15 On).

Using the scroll forward/back button (S110s1) select the tire pressure monitor system.

Press the trip odometer reset button (A1s3).  The previous display changes to the selection screen with preselection "No".

Press the "+" button on the + and - push-button (setting specific functions and volume control) (S111s1) on the multifunction steering wheel.  The
selection screen with selection "Yes" appears for approx. 2 seconds and then changes immediately to the confirmation screen.

Pressing the other keys leads to termination of the activation process.

The system message " Tire pressure displayed after driving for several minutes" appears immediately after the engine starts.

If activation is carried out while the engine is running, this message appears with a time delay of approx. 30 seconds.
