Check Engine Lamp Illuminated / DTC Codes 0817 or 0821
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of the check engine light being illuminated and diagnostic trouble codes 0817 and / or 0821
are present, flash the engine control unit using DAS version 11/2007 or later to current version and perform SCN coding to resolve.

After the software flash, perform SCN coding. Refer to Star TekInfo Document S-B-07.61/38i dated July 24, 2006 or S-B-58.00/144c dated
December 14, 2007 for procedure.
