Repair Materials
Wear cotton gloves. Ensure that no fingerprints are present in the area of the gluing surface (area A). To prevent adhesion problems when installing
window, keep gluing surface free of dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other anti-adhesive components.
1. Cut down existing glue bead on body flange to a height of approx. 1 to 2 mm.
Do not leave more than 2 mm of the existing glue bead. Pull off loose parts of existing glue bead (remaining pieces which are not completely cut
off).
2. Clean repair area with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
3. Clean gluing surface (area A) on body flange with cleaner from 2-component repair kit for installing glued window panes and dry with drying
cloth.
4. If glue bead on body flange is damaged or missing, apply primer in area to be glued using application rod provided. Then allow primer to air-dry
completely (at least 10 minutes).
5. Repair paint damage on body flange that is not covered by glue bead with a primer pen.
6. Remove remains of both clips from drill holes of body.
