Connect electrical connectors (4) with DVD player (A40/4).

Fasten DVD player (A40/4) to bracket (2) with screws/bolts (5).

Install cover (6).

1.1 Disconnect connector (P4, P5) from load compartment fuse and relay box (F4).

As of model year 2007, code 807

1.2 Disconnect connector (P1, P4) from load compartment fuse and relay box (F4).

Route wiring harness (1) of DVD player under bracket (2) and along main wiring harness.

Up to model year 2007, code 807

3.1 Insert red line (3) into socket 12 of connector P4 and red/ black line (4) into socket 12 of connector P5

Make sure that they engage audibly.

As of model year 2007, code 807

3.2 Insert red line (rt) in slot 3 of connector P1 as well as red/ black line (rt/sw) in slot 4 of connector P4.

Make sure that they engage audibly.

Connect removed connector to load compartment fuse and relay box (F4).

Route wiring harness (1) under side floor covering in luggage compartment to main wiring harness (5).

One of the connectors can be selected; the other is for the illuminated door sill molding.

Connect ground cable to ground (right wheel well in luggage compartment) (W7).

Connect wiring harness from fuse and relay box to DVD main wiring harness.

Route wiring harness (1) to main wiring harness (5) and secure with cable tie (6).

Route wiring harness (1) in cable duct (7) up to B-pillar.

Route wiring harness (1) in cable duct (7) behind front passenger seat and insert connector (8) for interference suppression filter (9).

Wrap interference suppression filter (9) in supplied foam material (10) and place at safe position at rear of floor.

Route voltage supply connector (11) under floor covering to center console (12).

Route wiring harness (1) behind center console frame (13).
