Rear Seat Entertainment System Display(s) Flickering, Picture Displaced Vertically, Display Distortion and/or Lines or Video Noise Across Any of the
Displays

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles where one or both of the Rear Seat Entertainment displays are flickering, distorted,
displaced vertically or having wavy lines across it, this may be due to over-extended or over-stressed cables or broken connectors on the LVDS
Cables (Video Cables). In some of these cases, the connectors may be malfunctioning and may not connect/lock into the display or the DVD
player to insure strong and correct contacts between the pining, follow the below steps to remedy.

1)

Physically inspect and verify the integrity of the main LVDS cable, it's connectors and the connections at the DVD Player A40/4. Refer to WIS
document AR82.60-P-7505GZ (164) and AR82.60-P-7505RT (251).

2)

Replace the main LVDS Cable if necessary. Refer to Parts Table for applicable part number.

3)

Inspect the operation of the unit. If this condition is not remedied by the above step, proceed to inspect the cables/connectors at the display. Refer
to WIS document AR82.60-P-7720GZ.

4)

As needed, replace the display units LVDS cables. Refer to Parts Table for applicable part numbers (for both 164 / 251 vehicles).
