AN31.11-P-8080-02RT Add Bumper Cutout

1. Place shock absorber (1) on workbench.
2. Make cutout in bumper (1) at marking (2).
3. Deburr bumper (1).

Steps 4 to 12 only for vehicle except code (494) USA version

4. Position the bracket (4) on the inside of the bumper (1), mark the lead-through for fixing lugs (arrows) on the bumper (1).
5. Remove bracket (4).
6. Drill through-holes with 5 mm dia. at the markings for the fixing lugs (arrows).
7. Fix the bracket (4) in place on the bumper (1) with the fixing lugs.
8. Use bracket (4) as a template, drill the through-holes with 4 mm dia. for rivets (3).
9. Deburr passage holes.

10. Attach clips (7, 8) to bracket (4).
11. Secure bracket (4) to bumper (1) using rivets (3) and clips (5).
12. Attach cover (6) to bracket (4).

1. Route wiring harness (1) of trailer hitch (2) into interior.
2. Fasten rubber (3) in place.

Dispose of the old rubber plug that has been removed.

3. Secure wiring harness (1) to trailer hitch (2) using cable ties (4).
