The rear SAM control unit transmits the information for trailer recognition to the PTS control unit (N62) via CAN-B. If a trailer is recognized, the rear
PTS is not activated when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear or idle.Otherwise, the trailer would b recognized as an obstacle.
