AP31.11-P-3121-02AK Check Function Of Ball Neck

- with CODE (550) Trailer hitch

1. Turn key (1a) in lock of hand wheel (4) 180° clockwise.
2. Withdraw hand wheel (4) approx. 10 mm out of ball neck (1) and turn in clockwise direction until it latches into place.

The red marking on the hand wheel (4) is located in the area of the green marking in the ball neck (1).

3. Slide ball neck (1) vertically into ball neck mounting (2), until the ball neck (1) is automatically locked.

The green marking on the hand wheel (4) must be located in the area of the green marking in the ball neck (1).

4. Turn key (1a) in lock of hand wheel (4) 180° counterclockwise and remove.

The hand wheel (4) must not protrude out of the ball neck (1) when pulled.

5. Check correct seating of ball neck (1) in the ball neck mounting (2).
6. Remove ball neck (1) in reverse order.
