5.

Lubricate both sides of the new latches (Figure 3) with special sliding compound (A000 989 38 60).

6.

Place the springs from the old latches on the new latches.

7.

Slide in the passenger side latch until it pops into place

8.

Slide in the driver side latch until it pops into place.

9.

Reinstall armrest cover. Refer to WIS document AR68.20-P-2370RT.

Note: 

DO NOT replace the entire center console. ONLY replace the tabs.
