Center Console Storage Compartment Crash Lock Triggered and Cannot be Unlocked

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the center console crash lock for the storage compartment has been triggered and cannot
be unlocked, please follow the procedure below to unlock.

1.

Remove center console bracket.

a.

Unclip center console cover with plastic wedge (Figure 1, callout 2).

b.

Remove cup holder divider and rubber insert (Figure 2, callout 3 and 4).
