Contact cavity 1:

red/green (rt/gn) line ( left-hand drive vehicle)

Install gray contact carrier (21) back into black, 52-pin plug C (20) and connect to rear SAM control unit (N10/8).

Connect a white, 3-pin plug (14) from the accessories wiring harness (13) with the white, 3-pin coupling (3) of the wiring harness for the
illuminated door sills (2).

The second white, 3-pin plug (14) of the accessories wiring harness (13) is not required and is strapped down.

Route the branch-off line from the wiring harness for illuminated door sills (2) labeled "left" to the door rocker panels on the left-hand side.

Route the branch-off line from the wiring harness for illuminated door sills (2) labeled "right" to the door rocker panels on the right-hand side.

Do not yet fasten the wiring harness for illuminated door sills (2).

Installation location: Left B-pillar

Attach double sided adhesive tape to rear of left front inverter (1) and left rear inverter (10).

Glue left front inverter (1) for the left front illuminated door sill as shown onto the left B-pillar.

The left front inverter (1) must lie on the floor covering (arrow).

Glue left rear inverter (10) for the right front illuminated door sill as shown onto the left B-pillar.

The lower right corner of the left rear inverter (10) must lie on the edge of the panel (arrow).
