Model 251.165/175 Front Seat Noise Complaints

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles regarding noise from the front seats when the load on the backrest frame changes, proceed as
described below to resolve.

A.

Noise When Load on Backrest Frame Changes

1.

Remove backrest cover. Refer to WIS document AR91.10-P-1090GZ (164) and AR91.10-P-1090RT (251).

2.

Remove sidebag unit. Refer to WIS document AR91.60-P-0695GZ (164) and AR91.60-P-0695RT (251).

3.

Disconnect padding support grid from the 4 suspension points (Figure 1), 2 on the right side and 2 on the left side.
