2.

Remove front exhaust system bracket bolts (A, Figure 1) from transmission on both sides of vehicle.

3.

Install shim plates (B, Figure 1) between front exhaust system brackets and transmission.

Install new front exhaust system bracket bolts (A) at transmission; torque bolts to 8 Nm, then tighten to 60 degree.

NOTE:
-

The exhaust system bracket bolts must be replaced.

Use a universal joint or swivel socket to torque the bracket bolts on the left side of the vehicle. When using this type of adapter or socket, do
NOT approach the bolts at an extreme angle in order to avoid compromising the tightening torque.
