Stop / Tail Light not Illuminating with DTCs 9102, 9103, 9106, 9107, 9126, 9127 or 9136

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of the stop light / taillight not illuminating and one of the following DTCs (9102,
9103, 9106, 9107, 9126, 9127 or 9136) are found in the rear SAM, please perform the following repair to stop lights on both sides of the vehicle.

1.

Remove trim in cargo area to gain access to tail lamp housing.

2.

Twist and remove stop bulb socket (E3e4 on 164 or E3e9 on 251) from the housing.

3.

Unplug the electrical connector from the tail lamp housing.
