Repair Materials

Wear cotton gloves. Ensure that no fingerprints are present in the area of the gluing surface (area E). To prevent adhesion problems when glazing, keep
gluing surface free of dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other anti-adhesive components.

1. Cut down existing adhesive bead on body flange to a height of approx. 1 to 2 mm.

Do not leave more than 2 mm of the existing adhesive bead. Pull off loose parts of existing adhesive bead (remaining pieces which are not
completely cut off).

2. Remove fabric adhesive tape from the body that was installed beforehand as protection.
