Fluid Flow Noise from the Power Steering High Pressure Hose

If you receive customer reports of a whirring or fluid flow noise mostly heard on stationary vehicle with engine running, and more noticeable when
moving steering wheel left or right, this may be caused by the power steering high pressure hose. The noise could be described as similar to a power
steering system sound when moving steering wheel to the end stops.

To remedy, replace the high pressure power steering hose. Refer to EPCnet for the applicable part number for respective models. Refer to WIS document
AR46.25-P-3015RT for replacement instructions.

Note:

The power steering pump is not the cause of the noise. Do not replace the power steering pump!
