Cause 2 through 5: 

Seat wiring harness in the height adjuster may be damaged as a result of incorrect routing.

Remedy 2 through 5: 

Ensure wiring harness is routed correctly (Figure 5)

a)

If necessary, release the wiring harness from the cushion shell.

b)

Remove the locator for the harness. The locator will be reused in step c.

c)

Use position/hole as shown in Figure 2, Pos. 4 to attach harness. Reuse the locator which was removed from the incorrect position (Figures 2 and
3).

d)

Clip in the harness.

e)

If the wiring harness is damaged, repair as per WIS document AR 00.19-P-0100A.
