Repair Materials

Component Identification

1. Position the rear mud guard (7) in the correct installation position on the bumper and mark the center points of the through-holes (8).
2. Remove rear mud guard (7) and rework the through-holes to 6.5 mm at the markings applied to the breather (9).
3. Clean the installation area of the rear mud guard (7) in the area of the fender.
4. Detach protective foil (10) over a length of 10 mm at the end of the inside adhesive surface of the rear mud guard (7).
5. Install rear mud guard (7) with expansion rivets (11) and clamps (12).
6. Pull the protective foil (10) off the adhesive surface and press on the rear mud guard (7) firmly.

It is not possible to align the rear mud guard again after sticking on.
