Task
When regeneration is enabled, the purge control valve opens the purge line between the activated charcoal canister and the intake manifold. In this way,
it is possible to suction off the fuel vapors from the activated charcoal canister.
The purge control valve is actuated by the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) by means of a PWM signal (pulse width modulated signal) according to
the operating conditions of the engine.
At the same time, the passage of the purge line from the activated charcoal canister to the intake manifold (a -> b) is opened.
The purge control valve is always closed in the idle state (deenergized).
The voltage is supplied through "terminal 87 M".
In order to suppress pulsation noises a fluid reservoir is located the purge line upstream of the purge control valve.
