Component Identification
In combination with the instrument cluster (A1), the multifunction steering wheel (MFL) contributes to active driving safety. This means that the driver
can concentrate on the traffic without distraction when operating various vehicle components such as radio and telephone.
Amongst others, various menu levels can be displayed on the multifunction display (A1p13) and various system functions can be activated or deactivated
or their settings changed using the following MFL buttons:

Scroll forward/back button

System selection button
Functions
The MFL permits the driver, depending on the equipment, to operate and call up the following base functions (systems) using the system selection
button:

Cellular telephone
^
Audio
^
Navigation
^
Compass
^
Trip computer
^
Vehicle configuration
^
Adjustment configuration
^
Fault and warning messages (if applicable)
The scroll forward/back button can be used to scroll in forward and backward direction within the selected base function.
Using the button for accepting and terminating a phone call, a call can be accepted or made (lift up) or terminated (put down).
Special functions and settings as well as volume control can be set using the buttons + and - for setting specific functions and volume control.
The left fanfare horn (H2) and the right fanfare horn (H2/1) are operated via the MFL impact plate.
