Replacement of Hydro Mount on Front Axle Transverse Lower Control Arm

It is no longer necessary to replace the entire transverse lower control arm (2, Figure 1) of the front axle if only damage occurs to the hydro mount (1,
Figure 1). The hydro mount with light alloy bracket housing can be replaced separately. Refer to WIS document AR33.20-P-0527RT for instructions.

This new repair method takes effect immediately.

The warranty and goodwill claims will be rejected in cases of unnecessary complete transverse lower control arms replacements resulting from failure to
adhere to this revised repair instruction.

The required parts can be determined from the EPC Group 33/015.
