Component Identification

Attach adapter for transmission (8a) to the front axle gear flange (11) and move into the horizontal position using the spirit level.

Check seat of magnetic fork on front axle gear flange (11).

If the position of the sensor (086a) deviates too much from the horizontal, a fault message appears on the measuring instrument display, no value
can be read off or stored.

Place the sensor (086a) on the support plate.

The cable (10) must point in the direction of travel (arrow), otherwise an incorrect measurement will occur.

Ensure that the sensor (086a) is seated correctly in the bores of the support plate, otherwise an incorrect measurement will occur.

Read off absolute angle at the flange of the front axle gear (1) on the measuring instrument display and enter in the data sheet.

If the electronic inclinometer is used or if measurements are made in inclination measuring mode with the electronic articulation/propeller shaft
inclinometer

The X-value must be read off on the display. Otherwise incorrect measurement results occur.

The measured value must not be stored.

The absolute angle at the flange of the front axle gear (1) may only be read off if the sensor (086a) is on standby and the displayed value is
constant.

3.2

Store the absolute angle at the flange of the front axle gear (1) in the measuring instrument.

If the electronic propeller shaft inclinometer with memory extension or the electronic articulation/propeller shaft inclinometer with memory
extension is used in articulation angle measuring mode.

Save the measured value by pressing the SAVE button. After this the measurement readiness for the second angle is displayed.

The absolute angle at the flange of the front axle gear (1) may only be stored if the sensor (086a) is on standby and the displayed value is
constant.
