Engine Mount: Service and Repair
Engine Mount
NOTE: Numbers in parentheses ( ) indicate a component or tool in the associated illustration.
1. Disconnect ground cable at battery.
2. Remove intake air scoop.
3. On Model 124 and 129, take off fan shroud ring and fan shroud.
4. On all models, remove bottom engine compartment panel.
5. Unscrew bolts (1).
6. Raise engine.
7. Unscrew bolts (7).
8. On Model 140, remove left engine mount together with engine carrier. Unscrew securing bolts (1). Push high pressure hose of tandem pump up
and out.
9. On all models, remove engine mounts (2) and shield (3).
10. Reverse procedure to install, noting following:

Engine mounts (2) and shields (3) on the left side right are identical.

The anti-twist lock (pin) in the engine mount (2) must be inserted into the hole in the shield (3) and into the retaining slot in the engine carriers
(4 or 5).

Tighten bolts (7) to 55 Nm

Tighten bolts (1) to 25 Nm
