Sunroof / Moonroof Panel: Adjustments

Tilting/Sliding Roof Panel Adjustment

Remove headliner on tilting/sliding roof. 

-

Raise tilting/sliding roof.

-

Loosen screws (Fig. 2).

NOTE:  On the glass tilting/sliding roof the rubber bellows on the tilting/sliding roof panel must be detached. See "Service and Repair" figures 1b and
2b.

Lower tilting/sliding roof.

-

Insert centering bolt (shop-made) into centering hole (Fig. 1).

Height adjustment at front = 0 to 1 mm lower than roof panelling.
Height adjustment at rear = 0 to 1 mm higher than roof panelling.

Tighten screws.

-

Remove centering bolt.

NOTE:  After closing from sliding position check adjustment at points "A" = 140 mm (Fig. 3).

Continue to reinstall in opposite order.
