Seat Cushion: Service and Repair
Replacement of Seat Cushion on Driver's Seat

Preliminary work:

Driver's seat removed. Refer to "Replacement of Driver's Seat". See: Service and Repair 
Cover on seat guide rails removed.

Seat cushion

position toward front as far as stop using adjusting wheel (1).

Adjusting wheel (1) and handle (2)

remove. Adhere to installation note!

Switch (3) for lumbar support

remove upwards and detach cable.

Screws (arrows) on panelling (4)

remove toward front.

Screws (2 pieces) on handle (5) for back/front adjustment on seat frame

remove, WAF 8 5 Nm

Cable from belt buckle to connection strip and rubber strap (2 pieces) on seat frame

unclip or detach.

Seat cushion (10)

turn into the removal position using the adjusting wheel (1). To do this, the screws (7 to 9) must be accessible.

Screw (6 and 7)

screw out.

Screw (8 and 9)

screw out, screw in longer screw at the rear when installing, 10 Nm.

Seat cushion (10)

remove from seat frame toward front.

Reinstall

in opposite order.

Installation note
