Install spacer on lower front of fender at rear of wheel opening (Figure 17).

7.

Press rubber seal into the AMG side sill. Attach one snap fastener at the front and rear of the AMG side skirt.

8.

Install AMG side skirts using the original mounting points.

9.

Reinstall the front, rear, and door side panels.

10.

Secure rear wheel well covering in side skirt.

D. Rear Apron (Model 124)

Preparation

1.

Remove or open trunk side trim.

2.

Remove cover between bumper and wheel well.

3.

Remove bumper by removing mounting nuts on left and right side walls and along rear wall of trunk (arrows, Figure 19).

!CAUTION!

The actual removal of the bumper should be done by two persons to avoid paint damage.

Remove impact absorber sections.
