Remove chrome molding by removing clips, SMS Job No. 88-205 (arrow, Figure 2). Remove beam.

Remove left and right mounting screws. Drill out rivets at sides. Using a screwdriver, pry back retaining tabs. Remove license plate bracket.

Modify beam by cutting Out vertical rib (B, Figure 3) according to specification. Drill mounting holes for driving lamps.

Assembly

Insert beam into AMG air dam/bumper cover. Press in upper retaining tabs. Install left and right mounting screws. Secure beam at the sides using
the fasteners supplied.

Insert driving lamp and bracket into mounting hole drilled previously and secure with rivets (A, Figure 4) provided.

9.

Position chrome moldings and secure using clips.

Final assembly

10.

Lift bumper and spoiler assembly and route driving lamp wiring up towards the headlamps.
