Rear Door Weatherstrip: Service and Repair

Clip (7) and retaining strip (6) 

press off with plastic wedge.

Sealing frame (1) 

pull out of channel in rear door.

Rubber seal (2) 

pull off.

Retainer (3) on bolt (4) 

remove.

Bolt (4) 

remove with special tool.

Plastic washer (5) 

remove (2 each).

Sealing frame (1) 

remove, to install coat channel with solution of soap and water.

Sealing frame (1) 

press into channel with plastic wedge starting at top front (arrow).

Continue to reinstall in opposite order.
