Attach electrical cable to block heater.

Install heat shield over block heater (arrow, Figure 3). To do so, remove hex. socket screw used to attach cable clamp below block heater. Attach
heat shield using new hex. socket screw and spring washer above block heater and old hex. socket screw, new spring washer and cable clamp
below block heater. Insert the lower screw with spring washer through the cable clamp first, the heat shield second and then into the engine block.

Route cable away from exhaust manifold along transmission oil cooler line using cable ties (arrow, Figure 4).

Continue routing the cable, using cable ties, along the alternator wiring harness.

10.

Open towing eye flap in bumper cover. Route cable forward through opening for towing eye flap.

11.

Insert cable plug through slot in towing eye flap and reinstall towing eye flap in bumper cover (Figure 5).
