Precombustion chambers are identified at upper flange with code numbers 601/07 Figs. 10. Six burner bores of different diameters are located on
pre-chamber lower half (burner neck) at different levels and angle positions.
1. Mark, disconnect and cap fuel injection lines from fuel injection nozzles.
2. Loosen fuel injection line brackets from intake manifold.
3. Loosen Bowden wire bracket from engine regulator and position aside.
4. Loosen nozzle holder bracket, then remove pencil element glow plugs, Figs. 12.
5. Remove threaded ring.
6. Using special tool 601589063300, or equivalent, remove precombustion chambers from cylinder head bores and cover cylinder head cover bores.
