Outside Temperature Display Sensor: Service and Repair
Preliminary work:
Left engine compartment cover removed
Left lamp unit removed.
Fuse carrier removed.
Ambient temperature display sensor (B14)
unclip; tie back if renewing.
Connector (X24) in fuse and relay box (F1)
unplug, plug in.
Fuse in connector (X24)
Push back with a screwdriver (arrow); pull out green connection cable (chamber 9) and brown cable (chamber 10) of sensor cable (1) and insulate.
Insert new connection wires with the identical coloring and push back fuse.
New sensor cable (2)
Lay in cable duct parallel to headlamp wiring harness and attach.
