Rear Air Conditioning Housing

Purpose/Design

The rear air conditioning housing serves to hold the following components

Blower (1)

Evaporator (2)

Heater core (3)

Air distribution flap (4)

forming one complete unit.
The rear air conditioning housing serves for distribution of the air required for ventilation of the rear passenger compartment to the appropriate air
outlets depending on the desired temperature in the rear passenger compartment.

The air guidance is dependent on various operating states such as:

Cooling mode

Heating mode
