Press system select pushbutton (S110s3) until the ((Settings...)) function appears in the multifunction display (A1p13).

Press reset button (r) for at least 3 seconds,

-

((DO YOU WANT TO RESET TO PLANT SETTINGS?)) appears in the multifunction display (A1p13)

-

Press the reset button once more within 5 seconds, all settings are now reset to the plant setting.
If the reset button is not pressed within these 5 seconds the display switches back to the basic display. The settings were not then reset.

Calling up stored fault messages and warning messages. 
It is possible to scroll through the stored messages when the instrument cluster (A1) is activated:

Press the CTEL call accept pushbutton (S111s3) until the ((--FAULTS)) display in the multifunction display (A1p13).

Scroll through the fault messages using the pushbutton + and -, setting of specific functions and volume control (S110s1). The messages are
displayed in the order in which they were acknowledged.

Acknowledging fault messages and warning messages in the multifunction display (A1p13)

These messages are displayed in to 3 categories according to their priority.
Category 2 and 3 messages in the multifunction display (A1p13) can be acknowledged by pressing the reset button (R). A category 1 message (highest
priority) cannot be acknowledged. 
Indicator lamps and malfunction indicator lamps which come on parallel cannot be acknowledged.

Adjusting brightness of the illumination

With the instrument and search illumination rheostat (A1e1) the brightness of the illumination on the instrument panel (A1) as well as the search
illumination and switch illumination can be adjusted to individual requirements.

The rheostat comes out when the instrument and search illumination rheostat (A1r1) is pressed briefly

-

Turning the rheostat clockwise increases the brightness and turning it counter-clockwise reduces the brightness.

Resetting Function

The contents of the short-distance memory and long-distance memory can be reset using the reset button (right-hand button of the instrument cluster
(A1):

Resetting the long-distance memory (((FROM RESET)))

Terminal 15 ON

-

Select the ((FROM RESET)) display mask with system select pushbutton (S110s3) and scroll forward pushbutton (S110s1) of the multifunction
steering wheel.

-

Press reset button for one second

-

The display is reset (refer to figure, ((FROM RESET)) appears in the text display (1))

The figure shows the ((FROM RESET)) display mask (long-distance memory) after resetting.

NOTE:  Analog display of the ((FROM STARTING)) display mask (short-distance memory) follows resetting.

Manual resetting of short-distance memory (((FROM STARTING)))

Terminal 15 ON

-

Select the ((FROM STARTING)) display mask (short-distance memory) with system select pushbutton (S110s3) and scroll forward pushbutton
(S110s1) of the multifunction steering wheel.

Press reset button for one second

-

The display is reset

Incorporating the data from the previous driving cycle in the short-distance memory

As the ((FROM STARTING)) display (short-distance memory) is designated for the data from one driving cycle, the contents of the ((FROM
STARTING)) display (short-distance memory) are normally reset automatically after the engine has started.
