EC Light Stays On At Vehicle Start Up
If you encounter instances on Model 220 / 215 vehicles of the air conditioning not working, the "EC" light being illuminated and Diagnostic Trouble
Code 1256 being stored, please check the pushbutton control unit. If the pushbutton control unit is part number 220 830 09 85 with a Q-level of 1, 2 or 3
(on label of unit), replace the unit with level Q4 (part no. remains the same). Earlier Q-level parts should be returned to the facing PDC.
