This note is displayed when the oil level is retrieved but the ignition has not yet been switched on.

NOTE:  "Not with engine running"

This note is displayed when the oil level is retrieved and the engine is running as it is not possible to measure the oil level in the operating state.

NOTE:  "For measurement car must be level"

This note always appears when the oil level is retrieved.
Correct measurement of the oil level is only possible when the vehicle is parked on a level surface. The driver is reminded of this by the display.

NOTE:  "Measurement not possible now"

This display appears when the oil level is retrieved but the waiting time after switching off the engine has not been maintained. The waiting time can be
up to 30 minutes when the engine is cold.
