NOTE: Numbers in parentheses ( ) indicate a component or tool in the associated illustration.
REMOVAL
1. Remove nuts (23a) retaining stabilizer bar to connecting link
2. Remove brake caliper on front axle, refer to Brakes and Traction Control
3. Remove brake disk on front axle
4. Unscrew nut (23b) up to half its threaded length
5. Loosen the taper of the connecting rod (23) on steering knuckle (33) by hammering gently on the nut (23b)
6. Remove connecting rod (23)
7. Check joints and rubber boots of the connecting rod (23), replace connecting rod if necessary
INSTALLATION

Install in reverse sequence, noting the following:

Align stabilizer bar (10) to center

Tighten the following components as noted:

Self-locking nut for fastening stabilizer bar connecting rod to steering knuckle: 40 Nm

Self-locking nut for fastening stabilizer bar connecting rod to stabilizer bar: 80 Nm
