Torque the mounting screws (Figure 2) to no more than 1.5 Nm. In addition, a "paper thick" gap (e, Figure 1) must be maintained between the mounting
sleeves (d) and the glass (b).

When replacing windshield, (SMS Body assembly jobs 1, Model 140, Job No. 67-100), be sure to use nozzle included in the windshield installation kit
as this will help ensure the adhesive bead thickness is correct. This, in turn, will help avoid positioning the glass in too high a position relative to the trim
piece.
