Preliminary work:

Spectacles compartment open
Lock cylinder for glove compartment removed. See: Glove Compartment/Glove Compartment Lock Cylinder/Service and Repair 

Screw (1)

screw out (2 each).

Spectacles compartment (2)

pull out.

Spectacles compartment (2)

insert.

Screw (1)

screw in (2 each).

Lock cylinder (3) for glove compartment

install.

Function check

perform.
