Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Service and Repair
Control Cable Can be Removed

Mount with Motor and Gear Unit, Removal and Installation:

-

Remove control cable.

-

Remove panelling in trunk, left.

-

Unscrew screws (Fig. 1) and disconnect plug connection.

-

Unclip tube and exit tube (Fig. 2) from gear unit.

-

Remove mount together with motor and gear unit.

-

Reinstall in opposite order.

NOTE:  When clipping in the two tubes ensure that the bead on the tube is pushed into the groove on the gearbox.

Check and adjust slip clutch on tilting/sliding roof motor. See: Sunroof / Moonroof Clutch/Adjustments
