Heater Core: Description and Operation
Heater Core
The heater core serves for heating the air flowing through to the various defroster, ventilation and heating nozzles in the vehicle passenger compartment.
The heated coolant flows through the heater core. The aluminum tube banks and louvers pass the heat to the outside.
This heats up the air flowing through and exiting through the various defroster, ventilation and heating nozzles in the passenger compartment.
