In the heating mode with the rear air conditioning switched on, the blower (1) sucks recirculated air (A) out of the vehicle passenger compartment.
The recirculated air (A) travels through the cooled evaporator (2) where it is cooled. The cooled dried air (B) then flows through the heated heater
core (3) where it is heated up. The heated air (C) then flows to the air outlets (4 and 6) depending on the position of the air distribution flap (5). The
water condensate is drained to the outside through the water condensate drain (7).
